My graduation design project, Ei, is a personalized AI companion aimed at fostering a symbiotic relationship between humans and AI through emotional connection. It actively supports the development of thinking and decision-making, ultimately achieving harmonious coexistence between humans and AI.
Proposal: Focus on the negative impact of generative AI on human self-reflection and decision-making abilities, and attempt to guide the positive development of human-AI relationships through the cultivation of digital twins.
Development: Conducted primary and secondary research on Gen Z's usage, attitudes, pros and cons of generative AI, and their methods for cultivating long-term friendships. This research established the final design intervention point— tactile feedback and relationship building.
Realisation: Through soft tactile feedback and long-term mutual learning between humans and AI, the project seeks to cultivate a relationship of mutual understanding and relative independence. By guiding collaborative interactions, it aims to build a symbiotic relationship.
